ConnectED 2019 Crate

In addition to branding the ConnectED 2020 event, I was tasked to create a unique event experience. To celebrate with financial professionals during the pandemic, we decided to produce a ConnectED Crate—a special delivery brimming with event items and fun surprises.

Problem

The COVID-19 pandemic really put a halt on our in-person events with financial professionals. As a result, we needed to brainstorm ideas on how to still physically connect with our attendees in a virtual setting.

Goals

  • Connect with financial professionals in their homes
  • Deliver an unforgettable experience
  • Somehow top what we did for ConnectED 2019

Research

We looked at various competitors and their boxes to attendees. Most of these included socks, some branded collateral and nothing really exciting. Because of this, we knew we needed to take this to the next level.


Solution

With a large budget, we set of to create the ultimate kit for virtual attendees. I received several compliments from financial professionals:

The box is so cool! My family devoured the snacks and now think that ConnectEd is the greatest thing ever. I love my new earbuds and am so excited about next week!!!! Mission accomplished!

 

Snacks – always important!   Also very important recipe cards for adult beverages!!  Journal, wireless ear buds, game.  I like how they used the whole box.  On the bottom of the box they had a crossword puzzle, maze etc.   Very creative.

 

It is the best “promotional” item I have ever received for a conference. Kudos to you and your team! It’s really fantastic. (Too bad my daughter and my husband stole most of the Partner Palette goodies from me – LOL).
