My Mentor Connect
In this portfolio piece, I present my involvement in the design and development of My Mentor Connect (MMC), a platform aimed at revolutionizing the mentorship process. As a part of this project, I contributed to the creation of an innovative solution that replaced the manual and time-consuming task of matching mentors and mentees. By developing MMC as a responsive website, we ensured that the platform was accessible across devices, providing a seamless and user-friendly experience for both mentors and mentees.
Problem
The traditional process of manually matching mentors with mentees proved to be inefficient and time-consuming. This approach relied heavily on administrative effort and lacked scalability. The need for a digital solution arose to streamline and automate the mentorship matching process, making it more accessible, efficient, and adaptable to the evolving needs of the users.

Research
Extensive research was conducted to understand the limitations of manual mentorship matching and the specific needs of mentors and mentees. This research involved studying existing mentorship programs, conducting surveys, and gathering feedback from potential users. The research phase focused on identifying pain points, preferences, and best practices to inform the development of MMC.
Solution
To address the challenges identified during the research phase, we designed and developed My Mentor Connect (MMC), a comprehensive platform that revolutionizes the mentorship process. MMC features an automated matching algorithm that considers mentee profiles and mentor preferences to facilitate optimal pairings. The platform provides a user-friendly interface, allowing mentors and mentees to create detailed profiles and seamlessly navigate through the matching process. MMC replaces manual matching with an efficient and scalable digital solution, enhancing accessibility and adaptability for mentorship opportunities.
