Advisor Group October 2021 Branding

In this case study, I present my role as the lead designer for Advisor Group’s premier conference, ConnectED 2021. The project involved creating captivating designs for various objects and collateral throughout the event space, including column wraps, escalator clings, banners, meter boards, easel signs, shirts, desks, light-up towers, and more. Additionally, I contributed to the branding of the final night party, FUSION FEST, hosted at the prestigious Allegiant Stadium. Furthermore, I played a key role in designing the branding for the event’s website and application, ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all digital touchpoints.

Problem

Advisor Group's ConnectED conference required a visually captivating and immersive environment that reflected the brand and enhanced the attendee experience. Additionally, there was a need for a cohesive visual identity and branding for the event's website and application. The challenge was to create designs for various objects and collateral that would engage and captivate conference participants, while also ensuring consistency and coherence with the digital branding elements.

Goals

Research

Extensive research was conducted to understand the conference theme, the brand identity of Advisor Group, and the desired attendee experience. This research involved studying previous conference designs, analyzing industry trends, and gathering input from the event team. Additionally, research was conducted to align the digital branding with the overall visual identity of the event. The research phase focused on developing a deep understanding of the objectives, visual preferences, and expectations for ConnectED 2021.


Solution

The solution involved a meticulous design process and collaboration with vendors to execute the vision for ConnectED 2021. Captivating designs were created for objects and collateral, strategically placed throughout the event space to create a cohesive and immersive environment. These designs reflected the Advisor Group brand and the ConnectED conference theme, fostering engagement and excitement among participants. Furthermore, a consistent branding was designed for the event's website and application, ensuring a seamless digital experience that aligned with the overall visual identity.
